The Heritage Quarter Wedding Showcase Leicester - Saturday 17th September 2011

Next Saturday I will be exhibiting at a really wonderful wedding fair!

The fair showcases not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR of Leicester City Centre's most spectacular venues, as well as some lovely Leicester wedding suppliers.








































































































































I'm really looking forward to this event, and it will be lovely to meet some fab new couples and suppliers as well as catch up with some familiar faces too!

Aimee & Mike's lovely Leicester city centre Wedding!

As soon as I spotted this gorgeous wedding whilst browsing facebook this morning I knew that I had to feature it on my blog, as it combines two things that I love - Leicester and Weddings. I am one of the very few people who is from and lives in Leicester that actually loves it - it's steeped in history and there are some really beautiful places to be found in the city if you just keep your eyes open for them!

The wedding took place at Leicester's Town Hall and afterwards at the stunning Maiyango Boutique Hotel & Restaurant. I love the little glimpses of Leicester's history that can be spotted throughout the images, and the cobbled streets on the walk between Town Hall Square and Maiyango are the perfect setting for this gorgeous shoot.

The Bride looks stunning in a cute and pretty 'short' wedding dress, which has beautiful floral detailing, accessorised with a chic and simple bouquet and gorgeous shoes. The flower girl is adorable in a little pink dress, and the groom looks dapper in a simple but effective smart blue suit.

{New design!} Hen Party invites!!

Just designed these super cute hen party invites, complete with partying hen!




































The cards are double sided, hand finished with rounded corners and feature my illustration of a very happy hen!

Design work for The Sweet Bar by Sweet as Chocolate Fountains

I've recently created some design work for the new Sweet Bar, from Sweet as Chocolate Fountains. They wanted a fun, vintage feel and i thought that this Rosewood font with pastel pink and apple green was just the ticket!

Shearsby Bath Wedding Fair - 27/2/2011

I had a fantastic day at Shearsby Bath wedding fair on Sunday, and met some lovely couples with some great ideas for their wedding stationery!

I decorated the top table with place cards, favour boxes, menus and a table sign in a silver and green colour scheme.
